TICs RESOURCES FOR LEARNING ENGLISH

GLOBAL OBJECTIVE:

To develop a Blog about an educational topic of interest to students associated with a learning sector with ICT (TIC) resources designed in a specific context and yer group of the primary education stage.

POPULATION CONTEXT: 

It's a public school called IE El Viver, it's located in Montcada i Reixac, in Barcelona. This town's population has been changing during the past years, there have been a lot of migratory changes and, therefore, social and economic changes too. The social and economical status of this area is low. Most of the students have special education needs.

AREA AND LEVEL:

English as a foreign language area, for children in 5th grade in primary education.
The dimension of this area are:

• Oral communication dimension

• Oral and written communication dimension

•  Written expression dimension 

• Oral communication

LINK WITH CHAPTER 4:

To create a blog that works as a virtual environment for the subject or course.

Tocreate documents that contain a piece of knowledge.

To provide tools to build knowledge, to describe situations, to present academic content, to collect content developed by students.

To use of video clips and other audiovisual documents, to combine texts, images, videos, animations and sounds in space and time.
